Before we talk numbers, we have to say that we're not going to be the lowest bidder for your project. If you just want to get your site out the door for the lowest price without regard for quality, you should probably look elsewhere. We're passionate about creating the best solution and we take the time to do things the right way. So how much will it cost to do something like you have in mind? Here are some ultra-rough ballpark price ranges.
Design (or redesign) your website
If we're talking about design and HTML only — whether it's redesigning an existing site or starting from scratch — we typically start around $3,000 and go up from there. To an extent, it depends on how much time you want us to spend doing a competitive analysis, wireframes, and the design itself. We can do simple, professional designs fairly quickly, but we've been known to spend 120 hours or more just on the design itself for a client with discriminating taste.
Be able to maintain the content on your site
Do you want to maintain your corporate site via a slick web-based application? Do you want to have a blog or just publish press releases online? Things like that are fairly standard these days because it empowers you to update your site without having to contact your web developer. Depending on the exact functionality you want, a site integrated with a content management system will typically start around $2,500.
Have ecommerce capabilities
Do you want to have a store on your site? Depending on how complex the functionality needs to be, a site integrated with an ecommerce system will typically start around $3,500.
Create a custom application
Do you want to build a complex site from scratch? Maybe social networking? Perhaps something to pull in and compare prices from various retailers? Possibly a huge portal? We can do it. A completely custom application will typically start around $10,000 and go up from there. As always, it depends on the details.
Your Brand | Identity
To design a logo, the time involved really depends on what you'd like. A logo as classic as the one used by Coca-Cola or FedEx obviously takes a good bit of time to create. We typically start around $800 for just a logo and up to $15,000 for a complete brand redesign.
Advertise your business on Google
For Pay-Per-Click campaigns to be effective, they take time to set up and maintain. Every campaign is different, but we've found that we can typically do the necessary research and get things up and running for around $1000. Also, two to three hours of maintenance per $1000 that you spend should give us sufficient time to keep an eye on things and make the tweaks needed to keep your ads in the sweet spot on Google. That works out to approximately 25% of what you're spending on your campaign on a monthly basis.
Create an email newsletter
We can usually design and code an email newsletter template for around $1000. For sending out your newsletter campaigns via our email marketing service, we charge $10 per newsletter plus 3 cents per recipient.
Increase your search engine rankings
Optimizing your site for search engines depends on many things, including how your site is coded and how well your content is written. If your HTML and content are good, it might be fairly easy to improve your search engine placement with some simple fixes. However, it could require completely rebuilding your site from scratch.
